About Us
Capt. Eamonn Solway, a paramedic, has spent his life on the water, enjoying fishing and family time on the water. Becca Solway has shared her love for Martha’s Vineyard's nature for 30 years as a teacher at West Tisbury School and Mass Audubon’s Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. Island Girl Excursions and our previous boat, the Island Girl, are named after our daughter, Lyla, meaning "of the island" in French. Our son, Eben, sometimes serves as first mate and always brings a smile.
